A rare and special 'Concept Album' effectively, and this has an atmospheric feel that for me - ranks it as one of the finest!
These boys made a HUGE impression on Folk circuits, and pop charts internationally.
The term 'dulcet tones' was surely epitomised, embodied by them. Angelic choral vocals disguised the fact that they sang one of the most wonderful incisive protest songs; ' The Sounds Of Silence". Even today the accusing lyrical meaning escapes many people otherwise familiar enough to sing along!
Their 60's albums stand out alongside Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger as folk's finest, but these two surely sang beautifully.
NM Vinyl, Matt orange UK lables - which are clean with no stickers or pen, and clearly well preserved all this time - for a timeless album.
The Laminated Sleeve is in lovely NM- Condition, a solid spine, some tiny corner dings but nothing really concerning.
Original CBS advert inner sleeve included.
This is definitely a KEEPER copy, it's in spectacular condition all round.
A really great Folk Rock record and nowadays is well known and sought after as an original like this - and in such shape.
