On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called 'Bookends' and is a 1968 mega rare MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING - AND RARER STILL IN MONO!!!!  THIS IS EASILY ONE OF THE VERY HARDEST SIMON & GARFUNKEL LPS TO FIND IN MONO!!!!  IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND THIS LP AS A 1ST PRESSING - THIS LP WAS PRESSED THROUGH THE 1970S AND NEARLY EVERY COPY THAT TURNS UP IS A LATER PRESSING.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS IS A GENIUNE 1968 1ST MONO PRESSING WITH A 'TEXTURED' ORANGE CBS LABEL, A 1ST PRESS CBS ORANGE 'ADVERTISING' INNER SLEEVE, AND A 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' LAMINATED COVER!!!!   IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND THIS LP AS A 1ST PRESSING IN MONO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 63101 (with MONO 'BPG' Matrixes) on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'textured' Orange CBS Label (see picture) and is a UK 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Simon & Garfunkel at their best!!!! Any fan of Simon & Garfunkel, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT though it does have a few hairlines, a few light scufflines and some VERY light paper scuffing only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only the VERY occassional click/low level pop (VERY few), NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO hiss, and NO crackle!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion.  The record must visually grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) (one side is visually nearer to Very Good(Minus) - one side is nearer to Very Good++) - though the playing grade is MUCH better and this record plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! THIS RECORD IS MEGA RARE IN MONO - AND WHILST IT ISNT VISUALLY PERFECT - IT IS FAR FROM 'TRASHED' AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press E.J.Day LAMINATED Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, some creasing to the cover front, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) - with only the creasing to the cover front stopping a higher grading. THIS LP MAY NOT BE VISUALLY PERFECT - BUT IT PLAYS BRILLIANTLY IN STUNNING MONO SOUND AND IS ONE OF THE VERY HARDEST SIMON AND GARFUNKEL LPS TO FIND IN MONO!!!!   SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
