On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called "Bookends" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Orange CBS label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND (AS A 1ST PRESSING!)!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF SIMON & GARFUNKEL'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (LIKE THIS!)!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ALSO THE 'EARLIEST' 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH AN ULTRA RARE LAMINATED COVER (ALL LATER ONES FROM 1970 ONWARDS WERE UNLAMINATED!), A 'B1' MATRIX ENDING ON SIDE 2 (LATER ONES DONT!), AND A HUGE 'COLOUR' POSTER!!!!  AS MANY PEOPLE WILL ALREADY KNOW - U.S. 1ST PRESSINGS CAME WITH THIS POSTER 'AS STANDARD', AND YET 'RELEASED' UK PRESSINGS NEVER DID.  HOWEVER, (LIKE MANY OF MY OTHER LPs CURRENTLY LISTED FOR SALE!) THIS LP WAS SENT OUT TO A PRODUCER PRIOR TO THE UK RELEASE DATE, AND CONTAINED THIS MASSIVE COLOUR POSTER!!!!  AND I CAN ABSOLUTELY PROMISE YOU - THAT THIS LP HAS NEVER BEEN 'MATCHED UP' TO INCLUDE THE POSTER - BECAUSE THIS IS EXACTLY HOW THIS LP WAS RECIEVED BY THE PRODUCER FROM CBS BACK IN 1968!!!!  LIKE MANY OTHER LPs FROM THIS PERIOD - IT WAS NOT UNUSUAL FOR 'SAMPLE' COPIES (SENT OUT BEFORE RELEASE!), TO INCLUDE A FEW 'EXTRAS' AND IN THIS LPs CASE IT WAS THIS AMAZING POSTER!!!!  ONLY UK 'PRE-RELEASE' 1ST PRESSINGS SENT OUT FROM THE FACTORY (TO DJs, RADIO STAFF, AND REVIEWERS) EVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE POSTER - AND THIS MAKES THIS LP VERY VERY RARE INDEED!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS ORANGE CBS LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS B1 SIDE 2 MATRIX ENDING, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS CBS ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'COLOUR' POSTER, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SBPG 63101 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Orange CBS label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE POSTER IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION (SEE PICTURE!)!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, only 1 VERY small area of laminate lifting in the bottom left corner, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
