Bookends LP - SIMON AND GARFUNKEL (Columbia KCL 2729)
Original 1968 U.S. MONO LP. S&G's classic, one of the tuffer U.S. major label MONOPHONIC pressings to find. This copy has seen better days, but still has a lot of sound life left in it, plays quite alright. A very decent starter copy, perhaps? Includes original poster.
Disc = VG to VG+ (lite hairlines & some scuffing; NO gouges or scratches, NO skips; plays w/ NO distortion & just very lite background noise; lite pops & ticks are scattered throughout, more noticeable on the quieter side 1, very much in the background on the 2nd side; all told, a pretty okay listen)
Cover = see pix; some wear in all corners; wear & chips along front right edge; name written on front; a couple chips & slight wear on top edge; wear & much cracking on bottom edge (almost a split, but not quite); some lite chips & cracking on spine; writing on back; any questions?, please ask
Labels = see pix; faint spindle marks by center hole; writing on both sides
Poster = lite smudging along top part; 3" vertical tear from top edge in middle fold
