Rare original MONO White Label Promo copy of Simon & Garfunkel's 1966 release "Sounds Of Silence" on Columbia Records CL 2469.
This is a 1st press Mono copy. The quality of the mono mix and the musicianship present on this LP are superb! Hard to find any mono copies of Simon & Garfunkel LPs, let alone a WLP. Although this copy has some condition issues, it is still a very scarce and collectable copy of a classic LP.
The condition issue is a mark on side 1 of the disc that is a little over one inch long. It is perpendicular to the grooves and can be felt with the tip of a finger. This mark is not as severe as it could be, but it is audible at various times during tracks 3 and 4. While I have to state this disc is in VG condition, every other song plays at nearly a VG+. Playback is still very high quality and enjoyable.

This cover is a beautiful example. The front cover image is very well preserved. Promo sticker is bright and crisp. Minor corner dings and signs of age. Rear cover has a bit of foxing and fading. See photos above.
