Description

Sounds Of Silence.   Cover VG++, Record M-, Mono.

     This was their second album and would become the breakout LP of their career.  This is the very first pressing with a major difference in the cover.  Millions were sold with the song titles printed down the right side, but this original looks very plain and clean without that extra printing.  Also on the back, there is copy of Tiger Beat sticking out of Artie's pocket, but that magazine's lawyers contacted Columbia and that would be airbrushed out on subsequent issues.
     Cover is very nice with tight seams, very light wear at the bottome center, and just a touch of dirt on the back.  Record has a few faint inaudible marks, but is otherwise clean and gorgeous.
