Description
Up for sale in this auction is a rare still sealed Simon & Garfunkel record entitled, "Sounds of Silence". Vinyl is assumed to be Mint as it has never been opened. Jacket is in VG+ to EX condition with some extremely light wear around the edges and corners, and some minor stubbing, most notably on the lower left corner. Some minor ringwear present. We believe this to be a 70s pressing as it came in with a group of sealed records from the 70s!

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
