On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Simon & Garfunkel called 'Wednesday Morning 3 A.M.' and is a MEGA rare MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST PRESSING - AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MONO!!!! THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE U.S. ONLY IN 1964 (UNRELEASED IN THE UK) - BUT WASNT RELEASED IN THE UK UNTIL NOVEMBER 1968. BY LATE 1968 STEREO WAS MORE COMMON - AND AS A RESULT NEARLY EVERY COPY OF THIS LP PRESSED IN THE UK WAS IN STEREO - AND SO FINDING THIS LP IN MONO IS INCREDIBLY RARE INDEED!!!! THIS IS THE GENIUNE 1968 MONO UK 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH A 1ST PRESS E.J.DAY 'PATENTS PENDING LAMINATED MONO COVER (THERE WERE NO FLIPBACK SLEEVES FOR THIS LP - THEY HAD BEEN PHASED OUT WELL OVER A YEAR BEFORE THIS LP WAS RELEASED), 1ST PRESS A/1 B/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS TEXTURED CBS MONO LABELS AND 1ST PRESS CBS INNER SLEEVE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENIUNE 1968 MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st MONO Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BPG 63370 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'TEXTURED' MONO Orange CBS Label (see picture) and is a UK 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Simon & Garfunkel at their best!!!! Any fan of Simon & Garfunkel, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, only very VERY minimal wear to the centre hole (barely ANY), and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 TINY and NON sounding hairline, 1 MEGA light and NON sounding scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. This record plays BRILLIANTLY in superb MONO!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press E.J.Day MONO 'Patents Pending' LAMINATED Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, only slight spinal wear (NO splits and NO nasty deep 'fluffy' wear), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, and only VERY slight yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
