1966 UK CBS 62690 Mono LP with Ernest J. Day  Front Laminated Flipback Sleeve , and complete with Original CBS  Liner Sleeve

Outstanding condition First Issue of this classic album ....

The 'rough texture' labels have the '33' print , omitting the later addition of '1/3'

The First Issue Sleeve has the Mono print on the rear panel , but  these first issues had both Stereo and Mono numbers printed just above the CBS box logo on front of sleeve , and with the Mono disc the Stereo number was blackened out - Only the very first issues came like this ........ very hard to find now .........

The Disc surfaces have little sign of use  .... beautifully clean , bright surfaces .... and  plays through really well , Outstanding sound quality throughout  : Graded at  MINT minus   condition.

Both labels are bright , crisp and clean .... light spindle use only : Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

The  Sleeve has  light use only .... bright and  clean .... no creasing  ....  great  spine and edges .... The rear panel has light use .... bright and clean   :  Graded at  EXCELLENT   condition.

Nice clean , flat CBS Liner Sleeve , no splits or damage ....

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
