Description

  • Simon & Garfunkel released their first "Greatest Hits" compilation in June 1972 on Columbia Records. It is filled with hits and was a Top 5 album in both the U.S. and U.K. when it was released two years after the duo had split.

  • This copy of (AL 31350) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and only shows the slightest edge wear and is easily VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Columbia Mastering in NYC and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Pitman, N.J. The Side One dead wax is stamped P 0 AL-31350-3CH Columbia NY.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.  It will come to you in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
