Description

Simple Minds 'Sweat In Bullet' UK 7” single from 1981 (Virgin VS 451) - not the 7" double pack!

A. Sweat In Bullet (3.00)

B. 20th Century Promised Land (4.55)

Collectors usually patted themselves on the back after picking up the ‘limited’ and rather ‘hard-to-get’ 7" double pack. However a plain 7” did exist and to this date it remains the rarest commercially released Simple Minds single.

Extremely rare, I have seen four copies of this item sell on eBay for £97.99 on 4-5-2008, £102 on 3-5-2009, £96 on 2-7-2009 and £101.99 on 5-7-2009 - the last of which I purchased to replace the copy I am now listing.

The copy for sale is in excellent condition. Vinyl is glossy black with no marks and no wear to centre hole indicating little or no playing. Sleeve has some ring-wear caused by the ridges around the labels with light corner creasing and a small tear on the open edge. I would say the wear is minimal considering the sleeve is made from white flimsy paper and is 28 years old.
