Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Their rare first 7” release, issued in 1979. Old eBay prices: £55 + £36 + £35 + €38. Beautiful German pressing in a totally different picture sleeve. This German release also features a DIFFERENT B-SIDE TRACK. As you know UK pressings have ‘Special View’ on the flip. This rarity was born with ‘Someone’ on the B-side. Another fact is that UK pressings were born in an EXTREMELY boring sleeves. This one was issued in UNIQUE SLEEVE DESIGN. And finally one more difference is that UK issues were born on 'Zoom' records. This SIMPLE MINDS single was pressed on 'Arista’ records. Both tracks were produced by the great John Leckie. The sleeve shows NO SEAM SPLITS but soft handling wear and some creases. For that reason I'm grading this beauty:
Condition / Zustand: EX-/M- with soft creases and minimal ringwear (see scans)

DEUTSCHLAND für 1-3 Singles: €4,50 nur als Einschreibebrief (versichert)
Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
