Sinéad O’Connor – I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got

Original 1990 US First Pressing | Ensign / Chrysalis – F1 21759 | Factory Sealed (Presumed MINT)

An extraordinary time capsule for the serious collector. Offered here is an original 1990 US First Pressing of Sinéad O’Connor’s career-defining masterpiece, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got, still preserved in its original factory shrink wrap.

Released right at the turning point when vinyl pressings were being drastically phased out in favor of cassettes and CDs, original 1990 vinyl copies are vastly rarer than late-80s catalog titles. Cut from original analog master tapes at Masterdisk and pressed by Specialty Records Corporation, this definitive pressing features timeless tracks like "Nothing Compares 2 U", "The Emperor's New Clothes", "I Am Stretched on Your Grave", and "The Last Day of Our Acquaintance".

Visual & Structural Grading

• Vinyl Condition: MINT (M) — Presumed Mint. Unplayed, untouched, and fully sealed from the manufacturer.

• Jacket Condition: NEAR MINT minus (NM-) / EX

  • Shrink Wrap: 100% intact, original tight factory shrink wrap. No major tears, splits, or peeling.

  • Spine & Seams: Fully legible, crisp spine with clean, rigid top and bottom edges. Zero seam splits.

  • Corners: Very minor age-appropriate softening and light rubbing at the extreme corner tips where the tight shrink has naturally pulled over decades, but structurally sound with no blunt trauma, bends, or creases.

  • Cut-Out Markings: NONE. No punch holes, saw cuts, clipped corners, or promo marks. Crisp, standard retail copy with original barcode (0 9463-21759-1 1).

Shipping & Returns Policy

Professional Packaging

• Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

• Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve. (Note: As this item is factory sealed, it will ship intact in its original seal unless requested otherwise upon purchase).

• 45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.

Fast & Tracked Shipping

• Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.

• Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying to receive the discounted rate.

Returns & Satisfaction

• The "Collector’s Guarantee": I use strict Goldmine Grading standards. If you feel the record does not match the description or grading, please contact me directly before leaving feedback. I am a collector first and I value your satisfaction.

• 30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.

• 🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For opened records, returns are accepted if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Any new scratches, sleeve scuffs, or damage to the jacket incurred while in the buyer's possession will void the full refund. For factory-sealed records, returns are only accepted if returned still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap as received.

• Shipping Costs: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless there was a significant error in the listing.
