Description
Up for auction is a copy of EMI SLS 822: The complete (9) Symphonies of Ralph Vaughan Williams. This is the famous edition featuring Sir Adrian Boult conducting either London Philharmonic or New Philharmonia Orchestra (Symphonies 3,4 and 6 plus a couple of shorter works). Great classic EMI sound on the discs I listened to. It's time to let this go to someone who will play these discs more than I do.
The discs are NM-. The booklet is also great. The box is very solid with good color. There's a little wear to the artwork around the edges and the spine. That's residue from a price sticker in the right hand corner, by the way. It should be easy to remove, but I have a history of bad luck when I try to do it myself!
