2024 reissue on colored vinyl - For Sir, before the GRAMMY nominations, the world tours with Kendrick Lamar and SZA, the RIAA Gold singles, the TV appearances - there was Seven Sundays. Released independently with tastemaker label Fresh Selects in 2015, the break-through album would go on to gain the attention of TDE, who signed him shortly thereafter, and the rest is history. With it's 10 year anniversary fast approaching - the album now stands not only as a testament to Sir's own talents, but also a snapshot of a burgeoning scene whose time had finally come. The supporting cast of Seven Sundays is practically a high school yearbook of "Most Likely To Succeed" peers from that era of the Los Angeles indie R&B and underground beat scene: In attendance were superlative talents Anderson.Paak (before Silk Sonic, Dr. Dre, and the Super Bowl) and D Smoke (before winning the Netflix hit Rhythm + Flow and signing to Snoop Dogg's Death Row Records), and some of the best producers/musicians of the era, including: Knxwledge (NxWorries, To Pimp A Butterfly, Action Bronson), Chris Dave and the Drumhedz (Blue Note Records, D'Angelo & The Vanguard, The Robert Glasper Experiment), J. LBs (Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Vince Staples, ScHoolboy Q), Tiffany Gouché (Jill Scott, Masego, Lalah Hathaway), DK The Punisher (Justin Bieber, Mac Miller, Isaiah Rashad) and more.

A formidable songwriter working behind the scenes with major R&B stars for years now - Inglewood, L.A.-based multi-talent, SiR, is now stepping to the forefront with his official solo debut.
Effortlessly combining his instantly recognizable voice and universally relatable songwriting with the rawness of the indie L.A. beat scene - SiR defines his own sound that’s both refreshingly new and immediately digestible at the same time. A rare combination of mass appeal and artistic integrity, he’s poised to bring pop appeal to the underground, and substance and a unique ear for production to the mainstream.
On his full-length debut, Seven Sundays, his writing covers the full spectrum of a relationship - from infatuation to heartbreak, playful indulgence to addictive co-dependency, and ultimately, growth through letting go.
