EXCELLENT VINYL on this first edition copy of The Sisters Of Mercy's 1987 GOTH CLASSIC "Floodlands", with "Dominion", "Lucretia (My Reflection)", "1959", and "This Corrosion".
Great atmospheric album, and the copy up for sale is in superior shape. The cover is clean and super shiny, only a tiny bit of ring wear on the front at the top. The corners have some bumping and bending, see the photo of one corner that is the worse of the 3 bumped. The front has two HYPE STICKERS attached to the cover itself, one says "featuring THIS CORROSION DOMINION 1959 60762-1", the other says "PRESSED ON HYIGH QUALITY AUDIOPHILE VINYL". It has a very legible spine and NO SPLITTING! The vinyl, wrapped in the original lyric sheet (some mid edge splitting) is super clean and shiny, good color, and as I am listening to it now, SOUNDS CRAZY GREAT! This album totally holds up after all these years (30! yikes!). Please, SEE ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING ON THIS GOTH ROCK CLASSIC! For those 80's and Goths out there HEADS UP! and check out POPTONE, a band made up of the writer, singer, guitarist Daniel Ash and drummer Kevin Hoskins of BAUHAUS, TONES ON TAIL, and LOVE AND ROCKETS covering songs from throughout their career. We saw them at their first show in LA and they were absolutely phenomenal, and they are still in the US on tour if I remember right. One goth to another lol. We've just re-opened our store after almost a year of recovering from 5 surgeries, and moving to Oregon, where all profits from sales here will go to opening up a Used / New record store, so thanks to all purchases for helping bring our baby to life, its a dream come true. With SEALED VINYL, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed. If you are concerned about the condition, warped or broken or whatever, we can open it for you before mailing it, and if anything is wrong, we'll notify you and you can decide how to proceed. In the case of a warp etc, we will refund you completely, but only if we open it and see the issue before it mails. This is for our financial protection as well as yours.
