Description
Fantastic and rare as hell release from 1989. Seven tracks on two discs. The title is 'Silence is platinum' and comes from the now infamous Palazzograssi records. The sleeve is double gatefold and is red in colour. Back of the sleeve says - '' Available as a limited edition of 40 copies in gatefold sleeve for one day only at the Sisters of mercy convention, March 19th 1989 Leeds, England''. This is copy number 36. The two discs are pressed in coloured vinyl - A and B side white, C and D side green. Labels are black and have title and A, B, C and D, track titles and Sisters' logo. The item comes complete with and insert and poster and review from the original gig. Insert states that that the recorded source was the from the mixing desk and recorded from one of the bands last American gigs at Fenders Ballroom, 521 East 1st Street, Long Beach, California, 30th May, 1985 before splitting later on that year. Both G/F sleeve and vinyl are exceptional quality. This really is a fantastic item, hence the starting price. I have had the item since the convention and I have never played it (although I believe the quality of the recording is brilliant). As usual from my extensive Sisters collection.
