Description

SKATALITES - Dick Tracy (Island) top quality ska

Flipside is 'One More Chance' by RITA AND THE SOULETTES another great ska tune.

Grade: - / G+ Light marks over all the surface, one bad scuff on A-side, stamp on A-side label, writing on B-side label. Still plays very well indeed, check the sample, the second portion runs through the suff mark. Plays OK and the flipside is a really great tune.

Sound samples are stereo VBR at about 82k, so not great, and taken directly from the record with no processing. Scans that include silver print may show up a bit dull but that's the scanner, the print is bright unless otherwise stated. No reserve, low start price. A great opportunity to grab this one ! It is a condition of bidding that you click on the Terms and Conditions link below when considering a bid on one of my items - everything is answered there. Mail me if you have any further questions before bidding.

Grading: is generally per UK record collector standards and the cover will only be graded if it is specific to the record. If you wish to have a more full explanation of grades, look here - plain black sleeves or company sleeves are not graded. The photos were done using my A3 scanner which leaves the colours looking a bit washed out, and sometimes with a dot pattern. This scanner also does not deal with gold and silver print well and makes it look worn or unclear. All silver and gold printed labels show strong and clear print unless noted in the description. Records without a sound sample are visually graded unless otherwise stated in the description.

Fake Bidders: We require all bidders to have a PayPal account and to meet the minimum buyer requirements, but with reggae there is always a chance that auctions will be ruined by people who obviously don't have anything better to do. In the event of this happening, the eBay auction will be void and the first underbidder will have the opportunity to buy the item at a second chance offer that will be the minimum bid increment over the previous valid bidder. We don't allow the fakers to push up prices and we will give you a fair deal. If you wish to bid, have a decent level of feedback, and are blocked, please ask a question and we'll consider making an exception.

The best strategy is not to wait until the last minute to bid - if a faker bids high 4 minutes before the auction ends (which is about the average for Carlos) then your valid bid will be rejected. If you know your maximum and bid earlier then your bid will be registered and you will get the second chance offer.

Shipping: Please don't bid and then bleat about the shipping costs - it is expensive to send a record signed-for outside the UK and the costs for doing this are clearly shown.

We will automatically combine postage on multiple wins, please ask a question to find out exactly how much you could save on multiple purchases. Because sellers are forced to use signed-for postage, you pay a maximum of 20% of the original postage cost for each subsequent item, usually less, so buy multiple items and save. Apologies to overseas buyers but the prices have gone up again. The price you see is for a 120gram package to be shipped airmail to your destination plus 30p to contribute towards packaging materials. For confirmation, check here.
