Description

 Acetates are quite rare to start with but those of songs that became hits are rarer still I would suggest!  This was still in the the British Top 40 exactly 50 years ago this month.  Country/crossover artist Skeeter Davis who was said to be an influence on both Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton was probably unknown in this country until this superb song came along.  This was eventually released on RCA 1328 in February 1963.  Acetates are different to vinyl being single sided and pressed on a metal base, however were I to grade it using the vinyl system then I would grade it VG+/EXminus region, i.e. above average for this type of disc.  Postage is free within UK only, extra 2.00GBP for EU and 3.50 for other areas.
