SKEPTICS-45-“She’s A Gas” b/w “Turn It On”-Sho-Boat Records #106-Really KillerKool 1966 OKLAHOMA Garage-Punk-Oklahoma GREATNESS! Most of you probably know this dynamite record from numerous comps-if not-A side is Monkees/Robbs-like pop dominated by a Vox Continental organ. B side is the opposite-total Standells-style Garage-punk. Lots of parallels to the Standells “Try It”-guitar-Vox Continental dominated with bursts of fuzz guitar; great badazz and guttural Jaggered-out lead vocal, killer-kool combination fuzz guitar & Vox Continental organ lead break. Real Dynamite stuff. This is probably their rarest release-Have seen many copies of their other singles—only one of this one besides this one over the years…
Condition: Record is MINT-Minus. Beautiful copy. Some light background noise at times on A side, hardly noticeable-due to pressing, not condition.
