Description
This is a fine LP. It's a UK stereo pressing entitled '34 Hours' by Skid Row on the UK CBS label. This album was actually released in 1971 and I understand that this is a first pressing. The catalogue number is S 64411. The music varies from hard psychedelic guitar music to blues and progressive pieces. This album will definitely appeal to fans of psychedelic and progressive music from the late 1960's and early 1970's.
OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold sleeve is in generally fine condition with some very minor wear and creasing. The top and bottom edges show some minor wear and the spine is in fine condition. The wording along the spine is 100% readable.The inner portion of the gatefold sleeve is in great condition with almost no wear or marks. It states on the rear left of the sleeve - 'ALL TITLES PUBLISHED BY FLEETWOOD MUSIC, COPYRIGHT 1971 - PRODUCED BY CLIFFORD DAVIS - RECORDING ENGINEER : MARTIN BIRCH - FRONT COVER PHOTOGRAPH : BY KIND PERMISSION OF BEAT CLUB, GERMANY - INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHS : BY COURTESY OF MR. DE-LUXE - ART DIRECTION : JOHN HAYS - CBS is a Trademark of the Columbia Broadcasting System Inc., USA - UNIPAK by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd., ENGLAND, Patents Pending'. I've graded the sleeve VG++.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a CBS company paper sleeve entitled 'THE INNER SLEEVE - ISSUE 5'. It features a number of LP covers by other CBS artists on both sides. It states - 'PATENT No. 1,125,555 - MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN'. I have graded this Ex-.
RECORD - This is in fine condition and there are some surface marks on both sides which result in surface noise especially in quiet passages and between tracks. There are occasional pops and clicks but there are definitely no jumps or skips on either side. The labels which are the orange CBS type with the black logo and wording are in fine condition. There are some minor spindle marks on both labels and the record has been well played. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - S 64411 A1 (stampers A C) - side two - S 64411 B1 (stampers A C) . I have graded the record as VG++ and believe that this is very fair.
