SKINNY PUPPY VIVIsectVI Gatefold LP. 1988 Nettwerk Records. RARE SIGNED BY KEVIN KEY, NIVEK OGRE and DWAYNE GOETTEL (who unfortunately passed away due to a drug overdose a few years later) on the inside of the gatefold in black permanent marker. THIS WAS SIGNED ON THEIR 1992 “LAST RIGHTS” TOUR. Skinny Puppy was considered one of the pioneers of Electro-Industrial/Dark Synth-Pop/Industrial Music and also known for their energetic and visually stimulating live performances incorporating clips and samples from horror movies, wild stage props and addressing such relevant issues/topics as Animal Rights, Chemical Warfare, Rape, Deforestation, Pollution, and more.
Vinyl is in VG to VG+ condition with light scuffs. The record sleeve has a “cut out” hole in the upper right which goes through the entire sleeve. There is some heavier wear on one corner of the sleeve and minor shelf wear everywhere else. Color is still vibrant. The original Nettwerk Records paper catalog is included as well. Please see photos. Any glare is from the camera flash and not on the actual item itself. I’m selling this for a friend who has had the record in their collection since the 80’s (but signed at the show in 1992) and has decided to part with it a low starting bid. I will be adding a few more from their collection soon so please keep checking back.
Great addition to any Industrial/Goth/Experimental/Dark Synth-Pop fans collection! This is definitely a once in life time item considering Dwayne Goettel sadly passed away in 1995. Don’t miss out on this piece of music history!
