THE VERY FIRST STEREO PRESSING ON THE BLACK RCA LABEL - LATER PRESSINGS WERE ON ORANGE LABELS. BLACK LABEL PRESSINGS WERE AVAILABLE FOR ONLY A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE LABEL CHANGE. MUCH RARER IN STEREO AS UK ALBUMS SOLD MORE MONO RECORDS THAN STEREO IN 1967.

Cover: 1st pressing Clout & Baker laminated front (unlaminated rear) non-gatefold cover. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Clear readable spine. There is some brown ageing alongside the spine and some marks on the rear cover - see photos. Rates as VG+.

Inner sleeve: Comes with its original paper (non poly-lined) inner sleeve. EX+

Labels:  Near Mint. No writings, doodles or stickers. Has the JT tax code above catalogue numbers on both sides and stamped in the run-out groove on both sides.

Vinyl: Heavy duty thick vinyl. Looks VG+ with one or two small scratches. Retains a nice sheen. Play tested. No skips/jumps. The album plays Near Excellent with light static. Please note that Track 1 (Side 1) does have some light clicks for about 30 seconds and this track therefore plays VG. Track 1 (Side 2) also has some light clicks for about a minute caused by a small feelable scratch and also rates as VG for playback. Considering this LP is now 46 years old, it has held up really well.

Gradings......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
