Here's a very interesting cool album, that showed a band making music 'unto themselves' at a time when copying trends was more likely than not.
Skip Bifferty can be aligned with the likes of The END or JULY in this attitude, and deserve a lot of respect for making their own headway in music. Psychedelia though, required more invention and imagination than say, Merseybeat or blues!
This album comes up for sale sporadically BUT.... not so often on this ORIGINAL black and silver lable! This is the actual FIRST PRESSING issue, one of just a few hundred first run off the master, I suspect. You usually see the orange lable RCA, so it's a classic rarity here!
A band that avoided copying Beatles or Mods or R'n B Beat-merchants but doing their own music - it's great and innovative.
