SKIP JAMES I’m so glad VANGUARD 2LP Gold Labels stereo VPD 20001!
Original UK double LP with gate fold sleeve, released in 19?? on the VANGUARD label (Gold Labels - Stereo). Catalogue number: VPD 20001.
MATRIX NUMBERS: A1, B1, C1, D1 (all etched)
Sleeve: VERY GOOD+ CONDITION
Sleeve in VERY GOOD+ condition, clean in appearance with minor wear on the front top left hand corner, a light corner knock/bump and a light front sleeve corner crease going from the below the I to the G (there is a light lined sleeve impression on the corresponding corner of the inside sleeve. Rest of sleeve is EXCELLENT in appearance. All the spine print is clear and fully legible. Sleeve has no rips/tears, no major edge wear (some minor print edge scuffs in places but minimal), no seem splits, and no other sleeve creases, apart from already mentioned. Record comes complete with the both original plain white paper protective inner sleeves, displays some slight wear from storage and age (light crease on one bag), but with no major visible damage, overall in EXCELLENT condition.
Records: VERY GOOD+ (*Plays EXCELLENT)/NEAR MINT CONDITION
All four record labels are NEAR MINT, clean with no damage, both sides display slight/light traces of spindle hole markings showing lightly played. Record one (Sides 1 & 2) display some small light surface marks/scuffs, these are minimal in quantity and are very lightly scattered, consisting mainly of small fine line/hairline types, with a few small but slightly more prominent marks visible on the B-side, one at 8 o’clock (across parts of tracks 4 & 5) and the other at 9 o’clock (across parts of tracks 1 & 2), however there is nothing heavy or that you can feel. Record two (sides 3 & 4) shows full original glossy sheen on both sides, displays a few minimal, tiny barely visible, ultra-light, fine line surface scuffs, which only show up when angled and viewed very closely under a strong bright light. *Record one play mostly EXCELLENT, emitting some slight minor low level background surface noise in occasional places, which is more noticeable during the quieter sections. There is the odd occasional low level background click in a few places and there are some low level passing clicks at the end of track one that run to about half way through the second track on the B-side. Record two has not been played.
