SKYBIRD - SUMMER OF 73
1974 UK Holyground HGS 118 (A2 - B2)
Extremely rare original UK 1974 Holyground label PRIVATE PRESSING Folk Rock album. Only 250 original copies were ever pressed, so, these original first pressings are very hard to come by. This copy is still in nice decent condition, VG+ / near excellent.
The vinyl still has a very nice clean glossy sheen. There are only a few light surface marks / hairlines, not many at all, & certainly no nasty surface marks or deep scratches, looks near excellent. Both sides play through mostly really excellent & clean throughout, with just some occasional tiny amounts of light static & crackle, & some low level light tics, again, nothing loud & nasty, still sounds really great. The sound quality is still excellent, with no lessening in the audio.
Both labels are still in excellent clean condition. The outer sleeve is in decent shape, very good, no writing, no rips or splits, just some noticeable markings & some visible ring wear, no really bad flaws or defects. The original white paper inner sleeve is in very good condition, a little creasing, but no rips or seam splits. The vinyl will be placed inside a brand new black poly-lined inner sleeve, this to prevent any damage to the original.
I pack my records very well. I always remove the vinyl & inner sleeve from the outer cover.
