Description
Up for sale is a genuine original UK pressing of Slade’s 1979 album "Return To Base" on the Barn Records label (NARB 003).
This copy features the A//1 B//1 matrix numbers, identifying it as a first pressing. It comes in the red and black title sleeve, which is a harder-to-find variation of this release.
The Side B run-out also features the 'penned up by porky' etching, confirming this was mastered by the legendary George Peckham
Condition & Performance
I prefer to describe the item accurately rather than using standard grading terms which can be subjective.
• The Vinyl: The record has been thoroughly play-tested. It plays very well on my equipment with no skips or jumps. Visually, the vinyl is very clean and shiny; I cannot see any visible marks on the surface.
• The Sleeve: The red title sleeve is solid with strong, vibrant color. It shows some light scuffing and minor wear to the corners and edges as you would expect from a record of this age. Please see the photos for a close-up look at the edges.
• The Labels: The Barn Records labels are clean and tidy.
Shipping
