WILD IN THE STREETS
never made it and was deleted quickly
group moved to Polydor where Holder and
Lea discovered they could write songs and
Slade became one of the best live acts around
Late 70s were very quiet for them but as a
replacement for Ozzy Osbourne at the 1980
Reading Festival they blew everyone of stage
and the gig was a fitting epitaph for the band
