All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)

Brief description of item

This is a SLADE fans dream...An ORIGINAL copy of 'Sladest'. I have had this record from day one. Purchased in 1971. So that's over 40 years ago & counting. I have had this stored out of any direct heat or sunlight, in a smoke free zone & never actually played it more than one time all those years ago to put to tape. This should be music to you ears!!

You simply will not find a more SUPERB all round copy. I have played this one time only.. YES one time. As a result you can unbelievably still even see VINYL SHARDS around the centre pin holes. Have a look at the close up view below, I hope you can see these.

On both labels side -A- or -B- there is absolutely NOT ONE...NOT 1 single spindle mark on either side of the orange/red POLYDOR labels. SPOTLESS labels. Like a time machine example, This is like it had just been made & dropped into the future, from 1971 to 2013...Honestly It will definitely not get any better or definitely not disappoint anyone that's looking for one of these. A final upgrade copy here.

The one and only thing (and this is critical on my part of the description) you will see the booklet is here & also itself in TIP TOP shape...But only over the years of very carefull storage at home the glue has become separated & dried out over all the years.. BIG DEAL. It's very, very easily repaired if so desired? or you could just leave it the way it is. Its only a minor issue to list. But to be honest and fair. I could have glued this on my own, but left it the way it is. If you want to deal with this personally? then I'll leave that up to you. All this being said. The actual booklet is in mint shape. Here with no ripping or tearing & no damp, grime, stains, or handwritten names. not even any tiny folds, all staples are fully intact & have ZERO signs of separating or rust...Just PERFECT.

The cover is a gated version original printed and made by E.J. Day group, London & Bedford. This cover is real gem also. There are no rips, tearing to the front/inside or back. No handwritten pre-owned names in ink or biro pen, no spine splitting 100% intact spine at the side and very clearly legible with no wear or storage issues. None at all, very clean and extremely bold print. A square spine that is as near new and nothing less!!! This cover is prone to ring wear because of the delicate design, here you will see absolutely no sign of this common flaw. All corners of this gated cover are near perfect 98% correct  with no bumps or squeeze or wear. No feathering or folds. Please just don't take my word for it  & have a good look at the close up view provided below of all that's on offer here. Original 'PLASTIC BAGS ARE DANGEROUS' poly lined dust inner is here also, and in MINT shape. I also provide a new plain white for shipping to avoid any split, with all contents stored outside the main jacket inside a brand new polythene storage bag.

NOTE : anything you see in these photographs that you think is a sign of wear or a flaw that I have missed in my description will be merely a reflection on the artwork from the photographs taken.

I tried my best with taking these, and no effects are added. The item is exactly as I describe here, and no less than NEAR MINT. Aside from the listed small issue of the booklet being un-attached to the actual cover. Which as I say is easily a minor issue to be concerned over.

Something any fan or collector of this group will take pride in owning. I can absolutely 100% guarantee you will be delighted upon winning this one, or I owe you all your money back, no questions asked. You will strive to get a better copy. In fact this is the BEST one you will EVER see offered. So with all this said, its not the rarest record in the world, but certainly one of the best you could own.

Now please scroll down to the end of the listing to view the LARGE photographs available. Also I pack properly so this arrives like you bought it. Method used is to be seen in 'payment & shipping box below' I use custom made mailers & protective stiffeners etc. Thanks & DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!

All vinyl comes from a smoke, damp and pet free environment

>>  Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
