Description
This is a rare and unusual SLADE disc in mint as new condition I bought it new in 1980 and only played tracks 1 on both sides to test it.A must for SLADE collectors.
Whilst Slade’s popularity dipped in the UK in the 70s they remained popular in Belgium and Holland having a No 1 album with Return to Base. In recognition of their popularity in both countries this EP was issued in 1980. The cover states it is a 6 track maxi single but it actually has 7 tracks and is really a mini LP.
It comprises three tracks from the UK issued “Six of the Best” EP and three tracks from the UK issued “Slade Alive at Reading”. The extra track “Not tonight Josephine” had at this point only appeared as a B side to the rare “Sign of the Times” single in 1979
