There's no doubt this latest long form from Nottingham's finest and most astute working class commentators is the album the UK needs right now. Sadly, though, with its scathing commentary of Britain's pandemic and Brexit-era suicidal (or at least kleptocratic) tendencies - many of which you could argue the country brought on itself - we're not 100% convinced this is the album we deserve.

Worthy or not, LP #6 for the Mods-proper couldn't cut deeper into the blue veins of The Establishment. Landing sucker-punches on everything from Dominic Cummings to the dreariness of English suburbia, and the tragicomedy of claustrophobia, negligence and denial that descended on the islands when C-19 made landfall. All set to the duo's typically funky, pared-back, hook filled DIY electro-punk tones, we'll wager this one features in all the lists come year end.
