I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE BEST NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / HEAVY METAL / HARD ROCK COLLECTION I HAVE SEEN IN 35+ YEARS. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM AN INDUSTRY PERSON WHO WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BETWEEM THE LATE 70'S AND LATE 80'S SPECIALISING IN ONLY NWOBHM / HARD ROCK / METAL ETC....so keep watching over the next few weeks, as a lot of the items I have for sale never been offered before, most come with letters and promo inserts etc....
This is a RARE UK TEST PRESSING NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / NWOBHM single by the band SLEDGEHAMMER from 1989, ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING IN BARELY PLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!!
This is the same SLEDGEHAMMER who released a string of NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL from the late 70's !!!
This TEST PRESSING also comes with a HAND TYPED / SIGNED letter from the band's managment ttelling how the band are about to change their name from SLEDGHAMMER to ONE VOICE in the year to come and other band information !!!
The labels are blank with HAND WRITTEN INFORMATION and stamped reales date.
The matrix numbers are: SIDE 1: MRSB 3 A-2J-1-1 machine stamped, SIDE 2: MRSB 3 B-1J-1-1 machine stamped.
The single was pressed in 1989 on the band's own SAMBEC MUSIC RECORDS, catalogue number MRSB 3.
The songs are: A KIND OF MADNESS / OBLITERATOR.
This TEST PRESSING of the single never came in a P/S, but comes with a HAND TYPED / SIGNED LETTER FROM THE BAND'S MANAGMENT and the condition of the VINYL is in EX++ (PLAYED ONCE), HAND TYPED / SIGNED LETTER is in VG++ condition (folded as was done originally).
DON'T LET THIS RARE NWOBHM / NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL TEST PRESSING single get away as you will NEVER see another one.
