Description

Slim Harpo Sings Raining in my Heart, Excello LP 8003, mono, US 1961, G/VG+.

Extremely rare and undeniably classic, this album was a huge influence on (and songs were covered by) many important bands like Pink Floyd, Yardbirds, Stones, Them, Pretty Things etc.

'Good' cover? Cover, such as it is, is now two separate pieces of cardboard. Wear to spine edge where it was once taped together, ringwear, corner ding. Red still bright, graphics still sharp.

Vinyl is a visual VG on side 1, VG+ side 2, with light scuffs/ hairlines (more obvious ones on side 1).
Audio, however, is a stunning NM throughout. Fidelity is amazing. Full, rich, punchy mono sound with no distortion. Only a little very light surface noise audible between tracks. No pops or ticks. Great stuff!

Orange labels clean except for sticker tear on S1.

Nice play copy of super rare and timeless blues/ R&B.
