Slint a band from Louisville, Kentucky had a short lived but very impressive career. These three albums TWEEZ, SPIDERLAND and the 10" EP Untitled represent the finest collection of the band's output. Recorded in Chicago, IL by Touch and Go Records, all vinyl is minty with no scratches, marks, or label wear.  The inner sleeves are all original.  The outer sleeves have no ring wear, no writing, no tears.  The TWEEZ outer jacket has a very slight bend on the back in the lower left corner.  Did not show in my pictures.  Otherwise, this set is in M- condition and would be mint but for the music not being sealed.

TWEEZ
Slint's first album Tweez was recorded in 1987 by Steve Albini, whom the band had chosen because they were fans of Albini's recently defunct group Big Black. Though Slint's members had composed the album's music during rehearsals in Walford's parents' basement, most of the lyrics were created in-studio, and included between-song sound effects and ad-libbed conversations with Albini.[12] During mixdown, Walford requested that Albini "make the bass drum sound like a ham being slapped by a catcher's mitt," and then spilled a cup of tea on Albini's mixing board.[14] Without former song titles, eight of the album's tracks were named for the band members' parents, and a ninth for Walford's dog, Rhoda. 
SPIDERLAND
Spiderland is considered a seminal work,[20] characterized by dark, syncopated rhythms, sparse guitar lines and haunting subject matter. The record's impact was such that many fans and critics have suggested it is the first true post-rock album,[17] helping to usher in a new wave of bands seeking a move away from the unfettered aggression of hardcore punk but not its underlying ethic. Spiderlands' success was also helped by its baleful culminating track, "Good Morning, Captain", being featured in Larry Clark's film Kids.
