Description
I'm selling the original pressing of the wonderful Slowdive LP "Souvlaki" on Creation Records (catalog number: CRELP 139; UPC: 5017556301395). THIS IS NOT THE NEW 2XLP GATEFOLD JAPANESE RE-ISSUE THAT IS AROUND NOW... THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK SINGLE LP PRESSING ON CREATION RECORDS IN 1993!
The LP is in EX condition. The jacket is in EX condition. The original, printed inner sleeve is in VG++ condition with a slight disc impression, however, it is minor and came from the manufacturer that way. Overall, the wear on everything is minor to non-existent.
The LP has been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment, with the record outside of both the jacket and the original, printed inner sleeve (the record was kept in a separate tyvek LP sleeve instead) to minimize/prevent any disc impressions as much as possible. It was stored in both a resealable Japanese plastic sleeve, and a 6mil plastic sleeve. This is also how the record will be shipped so that it is well-protected and will prevent any seam splits during shipment.
The record will be shipped in a brand new cardboard LP mailer with cardboard stiffeners on either side to protect the record as much as possible. I'm an avid record collector myself, so I will make sure that your record gets to you in the described condition as best as I can. If there's anything I hate, it's a poorly packaged/shipped record.
Shipping for this record, both domestically and internationally, will be done via USPS Priority Mail.
Domestic Priority Mail shipping will be FREE (insurance included!)
International Priority Mail shipping will cost $18 (which is about half of what it should be to most places around the world with insurance included.) Please do not ask if I can ship it via a cheaper service. This record is valuable. If you're too cheap to pay the extra (it's really not extra at all since the cheapest service is about this price and without insurance!) to get it to you faster, and in a more secure way... then maybe you shouldn't bid. Sorry if that's harsh, but I HATE answering this question!
