Description

33rpm LP vinyl record of SLPM 138777 Beethoven PIANO CONCERTO NO 5 in E flat OP.73 (Emperor), featuring Wilhelm Kempff on piano with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ferdinand Leitner. It was issued on the stereo Deutsche Grammophon tulips label in 1963. German pressing. Red stereo sleeve.

The record itself is graded excellent, with the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an Audio-Technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with just a tiny bit of crackle near the start of Side 2 - still pretty much a near mint playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded very good minus with rubbing to edges and corners, small sticker to rear cover. The spine is intact and strong with very slight loss to a couple of letters. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
