1967 stereo recording by Melodiya in the USSR and issued by HMV in the UK as a 6-record boxed set catalogue numbers SLS 879 (HQS 1319-1324) on plum Melodiya/HMV labels. The String Quartets Nos. 1-13 by Dmitri Shostakovitch are performed by the Borodin Quartet.?
11of the 12 sides have no visible marks and we have not played them. Side 11 has a light "smudge" mark & 3 very light ticks. The 8-page leaflet is near mint. The box is excellent with light corner/edge wear.
