SLY & THE FAMILY STONE

"Dance To The Music" c/w "Let Me Hear It From You"

Original 1968 UK stock issue.

I am a former record collector in the process of liquidating the bulk of the collection.

Record details:

Label: COLUMBIA

Catalogue number: DB 8369

Side 1: Dance to the Music

Side 1 matrix number: 7XCA 31731-1

Side 2: Let Me Hear It From You

Side 2 matrix number: 7XCA 31732-1

Record condition:

Label: A-side shows where an adhesive label was once affixed to the left hand side (over the "Daly City Music" credit).  B-side is clean.  No other marks or handwriting on either side.

Vinyl: visually graded as EX- as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality".  Both sides display superficial, barely visible surface/paper scuffs but no obvious visible surface marks or scratches.  Vinyl retains an excellent overall shine.

Sleeve: original period red Columbia company sleeve in EX condition (see photos).

Sound quality: excellent sound quality with minimal surface noise audible at high volume on the A-side.  The B-side exhibits some crackling through playback but none of the sound has been lost.  Note that the record being played is the actual one for sale in this listing and was recorded by myself.  This record was tested on a Sansui SR-2050C turntable.
