The SMALL FACES were, like The WHO, leading Mod music faces, making RnB and Motown soul into a new British form, tough blues shouts with everything your best dressed modern lad and lass could dance to - and scoot around Southern England following their favourite bands, and causing a scene!
Small Faces began with Decca, but moved on and joined Andrew Oldham's Immediate lable, where their pop took on a somewhat more sophisticated psych style.
Decca capitalised on their early singles success, with this followup album to their self titled debut lp. It's a great powerful record, led by Stevie Marriott's excellent belting vocals.
This is an excellent player too!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG++ to EXCELLENT
This has sporadic light marks, one non-sounding scratch mark and the disc sounds great!
Decca maroon ffrr Labels are EXCELLENT.
The front LAMINATED Single Card Cover grades EXCELLENT, one small nick at the opening edge.
