FROM THE BEGINNING
UK Mono pressing on the unboxed red Decca record label.
The catalogue number is LK 4879.This record was released in 1967.
The front only laminated sleeve is in superb tight and neat condition with seams and edges all very neat with only minimal wear. The spine is straight and true with absolutely no wear to either the spine or the printing on it.It is the non-flipback original. Easily EX probably better
The disc plays as EX+ No skips no repeats no pops no clicks no hiss There are a couyple of non sounding surface marks that DO NOT affect the playback
Matrix marks are XARL 7881 5b on side 1 & XARL 7882 8A on side 2. Side 2 has a "C" stamper mark at three o'clock. Decca used a stamper system based on the word "BUCKINGHAM" So first issues (perhaps 1000) had a "B" the next batch had "U" then "C" and so on. This is a very early issue of this rare record. Most copies that turn up have been hammered and also nearly all have double stampers e.g. BB or CM etc. Not this one!
