-MEGA-RARE 1965 UK DECCA DEMONSTRATION 45-

Here is a never see near impossible to find original 1965 UK Decca label DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE 45 of the second very rare uk release by the superb British uk Mod-Freakbeat band 'The Small Faces'. Just a few Demo's of this rare 45 have surfaced in the past few years, but these all had fully printed Decca Demo labels, this copy on offer here must be the earliest ever issue as the labels are hand-written. This second uk release by the band sold very poorly and surprisingly failed to chart. Stock copies almost never turn up and demo's are virtually impossible to find, so this original uk Demo issue with hand-written labels is just about extinct. The track ''I've Got Mine'' is a brilliant slice of moody sounding hard-edged heavy Mod-Freakbeat and the B-Side track ''It's Too Late'' is also just as good.

With this listing i have provided a MP3 of the A-Side, please just press the play button below to hear the track in it's entirety. This MP3 was taken from my CD version but the DEMO 45 plays almost as well with just a few tiny amounts of light background crackle.

If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's and the stranger and more obscure beat and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's then this excellent mega-rare UK Small Faces Freakbeat DEMO 45 by would make a really superb addition to any collection.

CONDITION =EX+

Both sides of the vinyl have a really excellent original deep glossy sheen and look close to new, there are only a few of the lightest very small top surface marks that make no difference to the sound, the vinyl plays and sounds superb with just the tiniest amounts of very light background crackle, there are no bad marks so there are no areas of loud clicks or pops, the sound quality is excellent throughout both tracks.

The DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE labels are in very good condition. Both track titles have been hand-written in blue pen on a dark blue label background and so are quite hard to read. The label of side-1 also has a large number '3' and a large letter 'A' written in black pen. The original Decca records company sleeve is also in very good condition with some light creasing and some initials lightly written in blue biro on one side.
