Description

SMALL FACES - OGDEN'S NUTGONE FLAKE / HAPPINESS STAN 12" IMMEDIATE RECORD CO. LTD. IMSP 012 STEREO LP ON THE PINK LABEL.

SIDE 1 MATRIX IMSP 012 1Y-2

SIDE 2 MATRIX IMSP 012 2Y-2

This is going to be difficult, it's like selling one of the family!

Record has been played so do not expect a mint copy but it is a well looked after LP that has a few light surface marks which in the main do not trouble the sound. I'm going to grade the vinyl visually as very good. The cover is very good/excellent with no tears or crushes. I have put the record in a new black polythene lined cover for transporting. The labels have a number of marks which could just be the age but I'm not sure what they are, I have tried to show these in photographs 5 and 6. The labels also show light spindle marks.

I have played the record through and side 1 plays with only very slight surface noise between some of the tracks. Side 2 has a few light scratches which result in 3 very slight clicks audible in the spoken parts, they would probably be missed if you didn't listen for them. I would grade side 1 as excellent and side 2 as very good.

Any questions please ask!

I've decided after 50 years of collecting to start selling my record collection and the duplicates in my cd collection. At the moment I'm just pulling things of shelves and listing them but I'm sure I'll get more organised as time progresses. A lot of the records (and cd's) were bought to play and to keep my collection of jukeboxes fed. However, especially with the 45's and 78's I have bought many that just didn't get played. Any record that has been on a jukebox will be sold as such but the majority haven't!

As someone who has bought thousands of records and cd's I recognise the frustration of receiving an item that is faulty or not as described. I will therefore offer a returns policy. If I have described something incorrectly or if there is a fault with your item please email to confirm that you wish to return and I will refund the money you paid including original and return postage once I have received the item back.

The record will be sent out well packaged in a record mailer with stiffeners to protect it.

The postage cost stated is based on the cost at the post office and the cost of the mailers and stiffeners which I buy new from Covers 33. I am more than happy to combine the postage costs if you win more than one item. I do not intend to make a profit on the postage/packaging but I have to cover my costs. I am happy to send overseas but please contact me for the extra postage cost. Postage stated is for the UK only.

My grading is in accordance with the record collector's grading system until I find a better one!

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

I often use + or - are to differentiate between these categories.

Happy bidding!
