Small Faces 'Ogdens Nut Gone Flake' on the Immediate label catalogue number IMSP 012 (stereo)
The numbers and letters stamped on the vinyl are:- Side One: IMSP 012 1Y-2 1 GD Side Two: IMSP 012 2Y-2 1 GD
This is a heavy vinyl and it is not warped. Both sides have lots of light wispy scratches all over, probably caused by the fact that the original inner sleeve was lost a long time ago and the record has been stored in the cover without any protection. Although this causes light crackle, the audio is actually surprisingly good. It plays very smoothly and the crackle can't be heard when the music is loud which is quite a lot of the time on this record. Overall I found the audio quite pleasing with no sticks, no skips, no jumps - but it's not for anybody who is disturbed by surface sound!
The track titles can be seen in the label photographs. The labels are in generally very good condition, they have lots of spindle lines but no writing, no damage.
The cover is a unique design. It has five circular pieces joined by hinges, it does not have any coating or laminate. All the hinges are in good order, although two of them have small harmless tears starting at the corners. The whole cover opens out correctly and very well - this is a really excellent cover. It is very clean and tidy, no writing, no marks, no damage (I think it's brilliant).
I have already mentioned that the inner sleeve was lost, but I have found a similar replacement which I will include (you can see it in the photograph). I have checked the record Collector grading system and I would say the cover is 'excellent' and the record is 'good' to 'very good'.
I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.
It will be packed in a record mailing box (cruciform) with two pieces of card inside for further protection.
