Full Gloss Vinyl looks untouched, Like New. Labels are Bright and Super Clean with a few tiny spindle marks close in to spindle hole.

Crisp, tight 5-Panel, Round Die-cut cover is vivid and unfaded. Immaculate with no wear, scuffs, creases, writing, soil, age-toning, soil or other marks. All edges are damage-free with no bends or dings. All 5 hinges are completely intact with no separating or tears. Like New.

Very early 1968 1st year issue. Only one earlier issue exists, with LILAC rather than the Pink labels.

K T Tax Code is blind-emboss stamped around center hole, on label Side 1. (enlarge PHOTO 2 to largest image size for clear look at this)
Pink Immediate labels with Pressing ring 1/2” out from center hole. Writing credits ARE separate from the track titles. "FOR AMAZING RESULTS THIS RECORD SHOULD BE PLAYED AT FULL VOLUME" Printed on label SIDE ONE around rim at top. "ALL RIGHTS OF THE RECORD PRODUCER ... BROADCASTING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED" Printed on label SIDE TWO around rim at top. ...both JUST AS ON THE LILAC LABELS. 
Indeed ALL of the LABEL TEXT (with the writing credits separate from and above the track titles section) font size, style, weight, placement, and complete wording exactly the same here as on the Lilac color labels.
The Vinyl has the same (IMSP 012-1Y // IMSP 012-2Y) Matrix numbers as the 1st run Lilac labeled copies, suggesting that this same 1st Vinyl pressing ran past the existing Lilac labels, and the rest were simply labeled with the follow-up PINK labels.
NOTE:
According to DISCOGS Data Base, there are NO known instances of any actually released 1Y / 1Y matrix UK issue. 1Y / 2Y are the earliest issued for OGDENS’.

Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake is not only Small Faces crowning achievement, but one of the top 10 albums of the entire 1960’s British rock scene. Any words I could supply here about the music itself, including the utterly delightful and brilliant contributions of the late, great Stanley Unwin throughout Side 2’s epic “HAPPINESS STAN” would not, could not, possibly do it justice. Suffice to say that no collection of British ‘60s Psychedelia is complete without it.

…come to that, amongst the small, but delightful sub-genre of Fairytale Rock Psychedelia, this LP is the absolute apex, though top contenders also would have to include some great early Tyrannosaurus Rex/T-Rex, ‘Evolution’ / ‘King Midas In Reverse’ / ‘Butterfly’-period Hollies, ‘Odessey And Oracle’-period Zombies,  Art (Supernatural Fairytales) - and of course Trapeze, on their debut album with the amazing “The Giant’s Dead Hoorah!” plus a few of the other tracks on that album.
...but nothing tops Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake

Finding a 1st year 1968 UK pressing of OGDENS’ in such clean, well-preserved shape is extremely rare in the last few decades. Finding this fragile, complex cover in such clean, crisp, virtually blemish-free condition is nothing short of a miracle.
