Description

A fantastic, RARE original pressing of The Small Faces LP - SMALL FACES. (Immediate) IMLP 008.

Matrix Side 1: IMLP 008 1L
Matrix Side2: IMLP 008 2L

This LP is the MONO pressing - which sounds really impactful when you crank up the volume. It is rated over and above the stereo mix.

(Side B label has 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS' text).

The sleeve is in above average shape - some careful touching-in has been attempted in the black areas. This cover suffers from the usual ringwear which is hard to avoid with this LP. The reverse of the unlaminated flipback cover is a bit aged and discoloured, but it has no real detrimental faults. The corners have been expertly touched in.

The rear of the sleeve has a feint ink stamp for 'THE RECORD CENTRE, 4 Woodbridge Rd. Guildford, Surrey. PHONE GUILDFORD 4234.' This would have been applied when it was sold 'brand new!' A nice bit of authenticity.

The spine text is 98% ledgible and intact, with no bad bends or rips - just a bit grubby and discoloured.
The opening edge remains sharp and uncreased.

This is a great copy to own if you cannot find - or afford, a 100% 'minty' copy which could cost you from £200 - £400 plus nowadays!

Sleeve grades = VG+/Ex-
Vinyl grades = Ex+ (Only light hairlines, no scratches. Some crackle in run-in grooves. Plays excellent/excellent+ throughout)
Labels grade = Ex (Some slight wispy spindle wear)
