The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

1995 HUT Records Pressing HUTT LP30

Up for auction here is a beautifully kept copy of this amazing LP from my collection.  As you probably already know, this is the most rare and hard to find of The Smashing Pumpkins albums.  This copy is the from the original first pressing limited to only 5,000 copies.  The first pressing was not numbered and is pressed on heavier vinyl with a deep groove.  Because of great demand, they subsequently released the more common numbered second pressing which was limited to 20,000 copies.  Please do a little research and do not be fooled into paying an exorbitant price for one of the cheap Germany bootlegs.  These are unfortunately all too common these days.  Just check the other current and past listings to see how many are coming from Germany.  This copy is the original frist pressing!  Each side of the vinyl is hand etched with the orignal catalogue # 7243847655.  The outer sleeve is in stunning NM condition.  There are no dings, creases, or blemishes of any kind.  The heavyweight vinyl records has never been listened to.  There are no spindle marks.  The vinyl is in pristine NM condition with a high sheen gloss that is as bright as the first day it was opened.  The records have always been stored in Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs rice paper inner sleeves and a Japanese sealable outer sleeve.  If you're a collector, you will appreciate the condition of this vinyl.  Honestly, I believe you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer copy anywhere.  I will be selling several other rare LPs, books, pieces of art, and concert posters over the next few days so please check out my other auctions. 

As in all my auctions, the pictures below are of the actual items for sale so you know what you are getting.  Bid with confidence as I pride myself on my 100% positive feedback.  All items will be packaged securely with sturdy cardboard mailers and the vinyl separated from the outer sleeve to avoid any seam splits in transit.  I will ship via USPS Priority mail for $13. Insurance and delivery confirmation is included in this cost.  I will also gladly combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction.  The cost will be $2 more per record.
