Up for your consideration here is a US original pressing of Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream" on orange marbled vinyl. I see the recent REISSUE that went out of print a short time ago is already commanding $200. If you're thinking of spending that kind of money on a record, you should really get an ORIGINAL.
I have cleaned this on my Ultrasonic cleaning machine and I listened to it. It plays beautifully with only a few quiet tics scattered throughout the 4 sides. I looked at the surfaces under a bright bulb and can clearly call it NM-.
The cover is the only weakness in this package. There is a pushed in corner at upper left and one inch seam splits at top center. And then of course, there is SCRIBBLING in BLACK SHARPIE all over the front cover that totally ruins it as far as I am concerned. But some people actually pay a premium for total strangers to scribble on their album covers in Black Sharpies.
I will ship this via Priority Mail the day following the auction's close, but with the heavy volume of shipping at this time of year, I CAN'T GUARANTEE delivery in time for Christmas, but more than likely, if you are in the US, you might have it by the 24th.
These are not getting any easier to find. Buy from a trusted LP seller.
