Description
Very Rare U.S. Promo only 45 by Smile. Songs are "Earth" b/w "Step On Me". Original U.S. white label promo on Mercury Records #72977 from 1969. Condition is VG++ (Step On Me)/strong VG near VG+ (Earth) (8/7-) few fine light surface marks light surface scuffs, Earth side has a small scratch and some light surface scuffs.
This is the only official pressing from the Queen early band. A piece of History. Don't be fooled by the fakes that have been printed in the early 80's. This the original genuine promo version of this single. The a-side run out states: 45117-1-1-1, then MR at 180 degrees from the matrix number. B-side states 45118-1-1-1 then MR at 180 degrees from matrix numbers.

Grading Scale:
10: Mint Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.
9: Mint- Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.
8: Excellent (VG++) Condition between 7 and 9.
7: VG+ Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
6: VG Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
5: VG- A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
4: G Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!
3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
