Description

From 1955... what a great R&B 78 from SMILEY LEWIS. On the IMPERIAL Record label. The record # is: 5356 and features the hit song "I Hear You Knocking" on Side a.) which became a smash hit for Dave Edmunds in 1970 and "Bumpity Bump" on side b). The record is in very nice condition... wonderful! I would grade this at VG++ to Near Mint Condition (visually & play graded). There are no heavy scratches, heavy marking or graying areas at all. It still maintains a beautiful high gloss finish. The labels are in Mint condition, with no writing or any wear at all. I have never seen a more beautiful collection of 78's than this one. It's as if they were played once, put away and properly stored for 60 yearsI have just made a major purchase of ultra rare rock, jazz & blues albums! They were from Radio Station Promotion Manager Lester "Len" Miller and are from his personal collection.
