TITLE: SNATCH AND THE POONTANGS - Snatch And The Poontangs
CONDITION (SOUND TESTED): Side one is Fair (there was a needle stick near the end of track one and again later on the side). Side two is Good and plays through. Both sides are covered in marks and wear and play with surface noise. Good gatefold jacket (ring wear, edge wear, bottom edge split at center of gatefold, initials written on cover and on lp label side two).
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Stereo LP. 1st edition with gatefold jacket, released 1969. Made in USA. Aliased as The Hawk, Prince Wunnerful and The Mouth, the three members in this group are in fact drummer and legendary bandleader Johnny Otis, his son, guitarist Shuggie Otis and vocalist Delmar "Mighty Mouth" Evans. The group released this one album of explicit "adult" blues songs in 1969, that over the years generated cult status.
